This box is made from elm wood and leather. The surface of the box is covered with leather and a Buddha and Buddhist mantras are hand painted onto the leather. The handles of the box are made from copper. Inside the box, there are delicately painted pictures of a couple having sex. Chinese parents gave these boxes to newly married couples in old times. The size of the box is 9 x 6 x 4 inches.
